Fun

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.”

Bright, joyful and optimistic, like the sun, yellow is the colour of Fun.

Fun is letting our hair down and setting our spirit free!

From dancing the night away and cheering on our team to laughing our socks off at a comedy gig and camping out in the middle of nowhere…. everyone’s idea of having a good time is different. But the gist is the same; fun is anything we do for the sheer pleasure of it.  And it feels gloriously uplifting and life-affirming.

But sometimes we’re guilty of under-indulging in fun. Because we put it on the back-burner – at the bottom of our priority list, under the usual mountain of tasks and to-dos.

But not-so-guilty pleasures are an essential antidote to the serious business of life and makes us feel all sorts of wonderful: exuberant, energised, contented, alive! We switch off and forget our worries, see things with fresh eyes and feel more connected to ourselves and other people.  We come back invigorated and ready to take on the world again.
