Love

Love is our connections with others. 

It’s our other half with whom we can be our warts-and-all self and our best friend who knows us inside out. It’s our kids who drive us round the bend but give us the strength to move mountains and our old boss who was a bridesmaid at our wedding. It’s our team at work and our local community. Love is a shoulder to cry on, an in-joke, listening, checking in, showing up, lending a hand, a night out, a kiss goodnight, dissecting life over a coffee and everything else in-between. 

We humans are social creatures who have a primeval need for closeness and belonging - to feel part of a tribe and part of the world. Every connection brings richness and colour to our life and is part of our story.  Without Love, we wither.  We all need to know we’d be missed if we disappeared off the face of the earth - even if we do talk too much or turn up late to everything!
